In the summer of 2016, Perisphere clients the Alliance for Safe Online Pharmacies Global and the Center for Safe Internet Pharmacies, along with the National Consumers League, sought our services to build a streamlined website with important information about the dangers of rogue online pharmacies and counterfeit pharmaceuticals with a particular outreach geared toward the elderly population of the United States and their caregivers. The website XtheRisk.com would serve as a hub to key resources provided by the three sponsors as well as provide combined resources such as infographics, media kits, and general information about consumer safety.
Over the course of two weeks we built out a substantial landing page for XtheRisk.com and laid the foundation for further development of the website into a multi-level consumer information platform. We incorporated existing brand markers and infographics and served as strategic partner coordinating the implementation of various downloadable resources and collateral. At the request of the partners, we implemented download tracking, Google analytics, security services, and other mechanisms to ensure that end-users would be confident in the curated resources accessed from the website and so that the partners could track progress of website interaction throughout a forthcoming promotional campaign.
We continue to provide the partners with strategic advisement and content assistance in maintaining the website and tracking interactions. Part of the campaign rollout of the website was the worldwide debut of the generic top-level domain for certified online pharmacies – .pharmacy. To promote this new domain service, we coordinated with the partners’ domain registrar to ensure that XtheRisk.pharmacy forwarded to XtheRisk.com.
