Strategic Guidance on Use of Anniversary Brand Mark, Digital Graphic Design for Related Website and Social Media Collateral, Microsite Landing Page Strategy and Implementation

Support Our Aging Religious (SOAR!) raises funds and provides grants to help Catholic religious congregations in the United States care for their elderly and infirm members. These grants address practical immediate needs such as renovations for accessibility, automatic doors, hospital beds and assistive devices. SOAR! has been a Perisphere client since 2012. We worked collaboratively with them to upgrade, host, and maintain their previous WordPress-based website and, in 2015, designed and launched a brand new refreshed and mobile-friendly website.

The year 2016 marks SOAR!’s 30th anniversary and SOAR! staff prepared an augmented brand mark to celebrate the occasion of “30 Years of Caring.” They asked Perisphere to provide for seamless integration of this new brand mark into the existing website and social media graphic design and to help design a microsite landing page promoting a capital campaign and other events which mark the special anniversary year.

Our team worked closely with SOAR! to establish a look and feel for the 30th anniversary brand mark that complemented the existing SOAR! logo on the header of the website, and we optimized this arrangement for mobile-device friendliness as well. Working with images of some of the many religious who have been helped by the work of SOAR! over the years, we created a representative graphic that further enhanced the anniversary brand mark on the home page of the website and the 30th anniversary microsite landing page, with its friendly URL. This guiding image became the basis for updates to social media cover images for SOAR!’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages and the 30th anniversary brand mark became SOAR!’s social media profile image. In addition, the microsite page was created to be versatile and allow for the updating of content throughout the year with highlight boxes making note of particularly important items of content related to the 30th anniversary, including special events, grants, and the history of the organization.
