National Advocacy Center of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd (2015 Website Project)
The National Advocacy Center (NAC) educates and develops strategies to address social justice issues and advocates for the transformation of society to the benefit of all people. NAC reflects the spirituality, history and mission of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd, working in solidarity with the disenfranchised – particularly families, women and children.
As a result of strategic discussions with the organization about updating to a new brand look and more modern website service as part of our Digital Outreach Engagement with them, NAC approached us in 2015 to design their new logo and related brand look-and-feel, as well as to implement a templated website on a popular hosting service.
Working within a modest budget, we engaged key NAC staff as we designed a new NAC logo (right), an updated tagline for the organization, and a brand statement to present the new graphic collateral to stakeholders based on this collaborative effort. This new branding became the basis of a refreshed presentation on their Twitter page and newly launched Facebook presence. On a streamlined schedule, we implemented and modified a template website based after a strategic review of the best possible template matches for their website needs. We crafted an overall feel for the website which matched the new branding direction and ensured a consistency of style across all pages of the site and related third-party services. We provided content and technical support with the third party hosting service and concluded the effort with a detailed training of the NAC staff in the functionality of the new website.
We continue to provide support and strategy to the NAC for their new website.
