Created in 1978, the InterFaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington (IFC) brings together 11 historic faith communities to promote dialogue, understanding and a sense of community and to work cooperatively for social and economic justice through the D.C. region. IFC members currently include the Baha’i, Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Jain, Jewish, Latter-day Saints, Protestant, Roman Catholic, Sikh and Zoroastrian faith communities.

The IFC approached Perisphere with a desire to redesign and replatform its outdated website and to improve integration with PayPal for the sale of educational materials. Our efforts included updating the existing IFC logo and creating a new site design and corresponding custom WordPress theme – emphasizing brand imagery, paths to events and key resources, “responsive” mobile and tablet display, and setup of a user-friendly storefront. We also produced new e-mail, Facebook and Twitter collateral. Ongoing efforts for IFC have included website maintenance, transition of a legacy e-mail system to Google Apps for Nonprofits, and periodic digital communications strategy consulting.
