National Catholic ministerial organizations have worked over the first decade of the 21st century to collaborate on supporting excellence in pastoral ministry through the study of the emerging models of pastoral leadership in the Catholic Church and applying these models to parish life. The vision of the Emerging Models of Pastoral Leadership Project is for a more fully collaborative, competent, and mission-focused pastoral leadership, strengthened in their service to parish communities at all levels. Their website was developed to provide a complete archive of over a decade of work, reports, and related findings, as well as access to books and other works produced by the Project.
