ASALH Centennial Year Meeting and Conference Journals
From July through September 2015, Perisphere worked closely with the ASALH team in curating, designing, proofing, and finalizing their 92-page Souvenir Journal and 108-page Academic Program Journal. This extensive print design effort included incorporating provided graphic collateral into the layout of both documents, copy and design review of camera-ready ads, layout and typesetting of all text pages, and from-scratch design of a number of pages and elements.
Ecumenical Advocacy Days National Gathering 2015: ‘Breaking the Chains’
Every year, Ecumenical Advocacy Days (EAD), a coalition of national and regional Christian social justice-oriented organizations and congregations, draws over 1,000 people to its National Gathering and Lobby Day in the Greater Washington, D.C. area. For a third year, Perisphere was a strategic partner with EAD over the course of an entire planning year of 11 months – from initial ideation of images for the chosen theme, strategic website content updates announcing key speakers and activities, to immediate event collateral preparation and planning, and, finally, to key event direction and on-site participation.
ASALH Centennial Year Black History Month Luncheon Journal
Among the celebrations marking the 2015 centennial year for the Association for the Study of African-American Life and History (ASALH) was the 89th Annual Black History Luncheon, held on February 28, 2015. From December 2014 through February 2015, Perisphere continued its layout and design role from past years for ASALH’s 52-page commemorative Luncheon Souvenir Journal.
Africa Today TV
Africa Today TV is an educational and public service organization which provides original informative content from and about the nations and peoples in Africa to a growing audience in Washington, D.C., the United States, and around the world. Perisphere redesigned and re-platformed the Africa Today TV website, designed its Facebook and Twitter presences, and provided e-mail migration and other technical services.
Community of Sant’Egidio
The Community of Sant’Egidio is a movement of 60,000 Christian people spread in all the five continents. Perisphere worked with the Washington, D.C. office of the Community to develop the look and feel for a November 2014 conference, “Love and Forgiveness in Governance: Learning From Experience.”
